Evelyn Nesbit is one of the original "Gibson Girls" from the late 19th century in the United States. She started posing for paintings at an early age and turned it into a full-fledged modeling career to support her family. Her likeness is well-known, even to this day. She grew up on the east coast with her mom and brother. Her dad passed away when she was 10-years-old leaving his family in debt and forcing them into survival mode. Evelyn experienced assult, abuse, entrapment, manipulation - you name it and she was traumatized by it. She often felt "stuck" with the men in her life until her husband killed her previous abuser and went to jail. She was able to turn her life around and do what she wanted to do after that.
