Virginia Johnson is recognized as one of the leading sexologists of our time. She spent more than five decades conducting research, teaching, and practicing treatment for sexual dysfunction. Along with her long-time partner, William Masters, Virginia spearheaded the field of sexual psychology. “Masters of Sex” is a TV series that ran from 2013 to 2016 on Showtime that is an American period drama about the pioneers of the science of human sexuality whose research kicked off the sexual revolution.
